CANADA UPDATE
BREAKING: For the first time, Canada will now have a quota for temporary residents when the multi-year immigration levels plan is set in the Fall of 2024.
- The target is to decrease the current 6.2% total temporary resident population in Canada to 5% over the next 3 years. This will account for a 20% decrease in the volume of temporary residents that Canada can welcome.
Temporary residents are students, work visas, and visitor visa holders
